A station that won’t play is almost always a problem with the stream itself, not with TuneSera. Here’s how to find the cause and fix it.

Quick checklist#

  1. Test the stream. Open the station in TuneSera → Stations and click Test next to Stream URL. See Test a stream before publishing.
  2. Check it’s a real stream. The URL must point to the audio, not to the station’s website or a web player page.
  3. Use HTTPS. If your site uses HTTPS and the stream starts with http://, browsers often block it. Look for an HTTPS version of the stream.
  4. Check the station is online. Visit the station’s website. Stations go offline or change their stream address from time to time.
  5. Try another browser. Some formats play in one browser but not another.

Common messages#

For imported stations, re-importing the country with Update existing and import missing may bring in a newer stream address.
